With the Floorstars remote model, you are often the only direct consumer contact and that comes with some responsibility. You are representing the Floorstrs customer, the retailer, and you need to manage the jobs well, ensuring prompt customer contact and always keeping them in the picture.

Floorstars Installers are interdependent on their remote colleagues’ customer handling and installation capability. The online world operates Review Systems like Trust Pilot and bad reviews can lose us all a big retail customer. Floorstars Installers have a key role in the process. Essentially you are doing much of what you do now anyway, but you are operating independently and must have self-reliance plus a great customer approach to achieve the desired result – a happy customer!

The First Stage

  1. Once approved, you have Password access to our App
  2. You attend a Webinar to learn APP use, understand systems and payment methods etc
  3. Your Field Manager will establish your skillset and operating area
  4. You and your Field Manager will agree a Materials Transfer Plan for your products

Operational

  1. Your Field manager will allocate Survey jobs to you as they come in
  2. We operate an’ Installer does the Survey’ Policy to minimise errors
  3. You receive a job alert and have to accept/turndown the Survey within 24 hours
  4. You should contact the customer within 48 hrs & and do the survey within 7 days or by agreement
  5. Required Flooring Quantities/Installation Services  are entered into the App,
  6. Plan Drawings are Uploaded to it.
  7. If Survey does not convert in 14 days, Floorstars initiate completion to start payment cycle
  8. Your Field Manager will allocate/re-allocate install jobs to you as they come in
  9. You receive an alert and have to accept/turndown the jobs within 24 hours
  10. You will confirm standard Material Transfer Plan or agree change with your Fulfilment Centre.
  11. HQ update the App with the expected Materials Delivery Dates. You set up provisional date with consumer.
  12. You would normally install within 14 days of receipt or by agreement with the consumer.
  13. When complete, you upload a signature and advise completion to initiate the payment cycle.

To become a Floorstars Installer, you will need to demonstrate that you have great installation skills and a clear interest in the technical aspects of our trade.
